Not Just Another Bracket

In product design, it's easy to overlook the humble bracket. It's just a piece of bent metal, right?
But on a recent project, this "simple" component ended up driving hours of design iteration, load path analysis, and real-world testing. Why?
Because this one bracket was responsible for transferring over a tonne of dynamic load — under vibration, at odd angles, and in a harsh outdoor environment.
We had to get it right.
We looked at:
-Load distribution through the welds
-Deflection under off-axis loading
-Material thickness vs. manufacturability
-Corrosion resistance without overengineering
In the end, it wasn’t glamorous — but it worked beautifully. And that’s often the most satisfying kind of success.
Sometimes the smallest parts carry the biggest load.
