Aeronavics

Objective: Collaborate with Aeronavics in crafting an entirely new line of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) and control stations. Working closely with Aeronavics' in-house design team, our role encompassed conceptual and detailed mechanical design, CAD modeling, FEA analysis, and preparation for prototype and production stages.

Key Focus Areas:

  1. Review and enhance the fundamental airframe architecture.

  2. Strengthen and rigidify the structure to accommodate potent new engines and props.

  3. Optimize the rigidity and user-friendliness of the folding boom system.

  4. Achieve a cohesive and fresh design aesthetic throughout the model range.

  5. Incorporate state-of-the-art electronic sensor technology, processing capabilities, navigation systems, and data link functionalities.

  6. Enhance the durability and operational efficiency of the retractable landing gear.

  7. Improve mechanical payload connections for enhanced functionality.

  8. Enhance pack-down design utilizing 3D packaging techniques to minimize transport case volume.

  9. Design housing and chassis for the control center.

  10. Develop interfaces compatible with a variety of off-the-shelf and custom components.

  11. Adapt to evolving project requirements, guided by market demands and field testing.

Achievements: The UAVs are currently undergoing rigorous testing in preparation for their forthcoming public release.
