And suddenly, a “great idea” becomes an expensive lesson.
The difference?
Engineering depth.
Good design isn’t just about how it looks.
It’s about how it’s made, assembled, tested, and used.
It’s understanding:
Where the stresses actually are (not where you think they are)
How materials really behave (not just datasheets)
What a supplier will struggle with (before they tell you)
Because every decision you make early…either compounds risk — or removes it.
The best products I’ve worked on all had one thing in common:
They were engineered with intent from day one.
Not patched together later.
